Dan Meyers
President, Consulting & Information Governance
Dan advises clients on eDiscovery best practices and motion practice, litigation readiness plans, defensible data disposition programs, and data privacy concerns, with a particular emphasis on cross-border data transfers. His clients range from financial institutions and multinational corporations to start-ups and small-to-medium businesses. Dan is certified as an eDiscovery Specialist (ACEDS) and an Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/E/US). Prior to joining TransPerfect, Dan was a Commercial Litigation Partner at an Am Law 100 law firm and the Founder and Chair of the firm’s eDiscovery & Information Governance practice group. Dan’s commercial litigation practice covered a wide range of complex business disputes before federal and state courts, including cross-border, corporate governance, bankruptcy, securities, breach of contract, and business tort cases.
Al-Karim Makhani
Vice President of Consulting & Information Governance
Al-Karim advises members of the legal profession on optimising the practice of law through automation, analytics and artificial intelligence. He is a solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales and an EU data privacy expert certified by the International Institute of Privacy Professionals. Al-Karim has lectured at various academic institutions and regularly contributes to leading industry bodies in a speaking or advisory capacity. He has recently authored a chapter on disintermediation and dematerialisation in Kluwers Law’s textbook on International Arbitration. Prior to his move into the legal technology space, Al-Karim was a senior disputes practitioner in the London and Hong Kong offices of Stephenson Harwood.
Maria Gallo
Director of Anti-Bribery and Special Investigations
Maria, based in the Washington DC office, is the Director of Special Investigations & FCPA Services at TransPerfect Legal. Prior to joining TransPerfect Legal, Maria spent 11 years at the U.S. Securities & Exchange Commission supporting investigations and enforcing alleged FCPA violations in the LATAM region as other part of the world. During her time at the SEC, Maria regularly participates in the preparations for the witness interviews, interviewed witnesses, assessed corporate internal controls and compliance programs, and analyzed digital evidence, financial transactions, compliance reports, and S.E.C. filings. Maria holds a law degree from Colombia and an L.L.M. from the Cardozo School of Law. She is fluent in Spanish and English and has in-depth exposure to common law and civil law legal systems.
Sasha Toussaint
Director of Strategic Accounts
Based in the TransPerfect Legal London office, Sasha consults on workflows leveraging legal technology and languages services to major law firms and corporate legal departments in the UK and Europe. Whilst she is her clients' partner from start to finish on every case, she focuses on multi-language and technology-assisted electronic document review and managed review across antitrust, litigation, and investigations. For two years, she served as the Secretary for Women in eDiscovery’s London Chapter.
Charlie Lilwall
Director of Strategic Accounts
Charlie is a Director in TransPerfect Legal’s London office. Charlie manages the relationships between TransPerfect Legal and major law firms and corporate legal clients, both in the UK and offshore markets. He focuses his work on helping to construct time and cost-effective processes for clients, working across eDiscovery and managed review. Charlie ensures budgets are met through bespoke, streamlined, and efficient workflows.

Nicole Villablanca is a Director in the TransPerfect Legal Atlanta office. She has spent the last 8 years working with law firms and corporate legal departments across the United States. As an experienced consultant with a demonstrated history of working in both the legal and language services industries, Nicole specializes in helping clients navigate foreign language and eDiscovery issues.
Liam Fordy
Director of Business Development - Canada
Liam Fordy has been based in TransPerfect Legal’s Toronto Office for the past 5 years. He manages relationships between TransPerfects law firm and corporate legal clients across Canada, helping to consult and deliver on streamlined eDiscovery solutions on a global scale. He takes a hand on approach with clients working on high stakes litigation, alternative dispute resolution, regulatory, merger clearance compliance and investigative projects. Working with our team of highly technical and sophisticated professionals to streamline and execute complex workflows from digital forensic collection through document review and productions.
Ismael Herrero
Director, Client Services – LATAM
Splitting time between TransPerfect Legal Washington, DC and Mexico City offices, Ismael Herrero consults on legal technology solutions and language services for top law firms and corporate legal departments in North America. He specializes in multi-language electronic document review, optimizing tech workflows for antitrust and FCPA cases against agencies like the DOJ and COFECE. Since 2016, Ismael has worked at the intersection of technology and language, supporting US businesses in the LATAM market with expansion and regulatory compliance.
Nora Reilly
Director, Business Development
Based in the TransPerfect Legal Chicago office, Nora consults on workflows leveraging legal technology and languages services to major law firms and corporate legal departments in the Midwest. Whilst she is her clients' partner from start to finish on every case, she focuses on cross border eDiscovery, forensics, and managed review for litigation and investigations. She currently serves on the young professionals board at the Chicago Bar Association and is an active member at the NIJC.
