Digital Preservation & Forensics
The TLS Digital Forensics division provides professional expertise to assist your organization in all aspects of forensic data preservations, investigations, and data format conversions. Our staff of digital evidence examiners is comprised of experts in the collection, analysis, and conversion of data from virtually all types of data storage devices, including:
- Desktop and laptop computers
- Network-based servers and storage devices
- Cell/smart phones and PDAs
- iPods and other types of external media storage devices
- Backup tapes
When evidence such as deleted file activity, internet browsing history, file transfers to external media, spoliation of evidence claims, metadata, and other forensically available artifacts is important to the matter, TLS is highly experienced in preserving and identifying critical digital evidence not available through conventional analysis.
TLS maintains laboratories located in the United States and Asia, and they are built to support the imaging and analysis of all types of electronic media. Our professionals are available to deploy to the client site with portable laboratory kits for on-site preservation and/or analysis. Each laboratory kit enables one examiner to preserve at least five devices simultaneously. TLS also has the capability to deploy self-collection kits for remote collections under the remote supervision of a TLS staff member.
Armed with an arsenal of computer investigative tools, TLS is able to capture and analyze enormous amounts of data. Our team of experts has years of experience in conducting computer investigations quickly and efficiently, including matters such as:
- Large Scale Global Data Collections
- Misuse of Company Resources
- Intellectual Property and Release of Proprietary Information
- Theft or Misappropriation of Trade Secrets
